Description of Service
Social Housing sheltered accommodation: for customers over 60 years with a support need or with medical need for sheltered accommodation. The scheme itself is opposite Rossmere Park and close to local shops. There are 46 properties within this scheme, which includes 43 one bed apartments, 2 two bed apartments and 1 three bed house. The scheme is over 3 floors and serviced by 2 lifts. The apartments consist of of living room, kitchen, bedroom/s, bathroom and passage. The scheme has also benefited from a new assisted bathroom and showering room. On each floor there are communal lounge areas, a conservatory, large function room, laundry and kitchen. There is a beautiful garden area to the rear, which is accessed via ground floor flats and conservatory. There is a large salon for residents own hairdressers to access. The scheme also benefits from a guest suite for which residents can access for a nominal charge for their families and friends. There is a scheme manager on site from 8:30am until 4:30pm Monday to Friday who can offer advice and support. Stay Independent: all apartments have access to pull cords and each individual offered a pendent to call for assistance in emergencies. 24-hour support: access support anytime by calling our contact centre or by speaking to onsite staff. Outside agencies: we have good links and communication with other support providers and Hartlepool Borough Council so the right care can be accessed when identifying individual needs. Community: use of all on-site facilities and activities. We try to create a sociable and friendly community.

Is there a cost for this service?
Rent and service charges can be discussed on an individual basis. If you are in receipt of care you will be assessed through Adult Social Services and advised what contribution you will pay towards the cost of the care received.
Bramley Court is open Monday - Thursday 8:30am until 4:30pm and Friday 8:30am until 4:00pm

We have extra wide corridors on all 3 floors, 2 lifts and handrails around the scheme. All flats have Tunstall alarm system. There is a door entry system to each flat at the entrance of the building.

We have and can refer into services when requested by our residents to arrange for them at their request to access holy communion in their own homes. We meet individual tenants needs where possible.

Compass application form needs completing via Titan House or online. Vacancies are advertised via Compass and applicants are encouraged to bid for properties they are interested in. Residents with an identified disability priority can be supported in their bidding via the Independent Living Team, Thirteen Group.
