Service summary

Hart Community Primary School

We aim to give parents, carers and families a wider view of the learning opportunities and wider curricular activities that take place here at Hart Primary School. We understand that many of our parents can find it difficult to get into school so we aim to share as much learning on the website as possible. We are incredibly proud of our school, the curriculum it provides, the achievements our pupils attain and the way our school forms a strong part of our local community both in Hart village and in Hartlepool.

In our school we hold high expectations and say that everything is ‘Always our best’. We aim to develop the whole child, ensuring pupils have a wide range of opportunities to succeed in academic work as well as music, sport and the Arts. We also firmly believe in respect and kindness towards others, which helps make sure our school is a vibrant, caring learning environment.

The pupils in our school experience education in a small, village school situated in the countryside. We personalise our curriculum to ensure that pupils are educated about the world around them, including local wildlife, farming and using the local outdoor environment to learn. We are a small family environment who offer the widest opportunities, not limited by size. As one of our pupils aptly put it, ‘We may be a small school but we have a big personality.’

We are privileged to be a designated National Support School, which means that we provide support to schools who are on their improvement journey and our leaders and teachers are able to work alongside other schools to help them to develop and improve.

We are proud to be part of Northern Lights Learning Trust. Our Trust website can be accessed here https://www.northernlightslearningtrust.co.uk/. As part of the Trust we are able to share excellent practice across the Trust, learning together and provide our pupils with even more opportunities.

If you would like to visit our school, then please get in touch with our school office.
