St Hilds Church of England Voluntary Aided School
St. Hild’s pupils enjoy modern facilities which support our high aspirations for them. Our approach to education is built on sound, traditional teaching which has stood the test of time, enhanced by innovative and creative methods of curriculum delivery; our focus is on learning and we try to make the decisions that parents and Carers would make for their own children if they could.
We work tirelessly to ensure each child enjoys their education and is able to achieve the best they can, both academically and in terms of their personal and social development. “Life in all its fullness” John 10:10, is our motto and we work hard to make this a reality.
At St. Hild’s Church of England School we aim to provide all our pupils with a world class education in a Christian context.
We expect to find God at work in our school, and our vision for our curriculum provision is routed in our core values of care, honesty, equality, respect and responsibility, and our motto “life in all its fullness”.
It is our intent that the curriculum at St. Hild’s offers the opportunity for all pupils to:
• Care for themselves, their community and the world in which they live. Helping them to develop into good citizens.
• Be honest about what they can do and where they need support so all can experience success.
• Have equality of opportunity whilst still having their individual needs met.
• Respect other pupils right to learn and develop good behaviour for learning.
• Take responsibility for their own learning and develop resilience and a love of learning.
