Stop Smoking Service
MAKE THE BREAK - STOP SMOKING
- Lets be honest, stopping isn't always easy. However there is free local support available at the Community Hubs, and when you feel ready to give it a go you can pop in and speak to one of our trained Community Navigators.
Our Community Navigators will offer no nonsense information, facts and advice that will help explain the effects of smoking on yourself and those around you.
How we help - We can provide information about quit smoking websites and helpful phone apps that can keep you on track.
We have the equipment available to measure the levels of poisonous gas, known as Carbon Monoxide in your body
We Can discuss safer substitutes to cigarettes and tobacco to help beat cravings such as patches, gum, nasal spray, inhalators and vapes with you.
Tailored support to your individual needs and circumstances. Telephone and face to face appointments available as well as an individual agreed programme of support (I.E 12 weeks or as long as required)
Everything discussed is completely confidential!
If you feel like this support is for you, feel free to contact the Community Navigators via phone call (Mon-Thurs 08:30-17:00, Fri - 08:30-16:30) or alternatively we are available by email at Helping@Hartlepool.gov.uk
