Exciting Family Fun Day coming soon to Heugh Battery Museum, Headland.

Past meets present - a day for all ages to get together and celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the end of the Second World War. Babies to seniors, grandparents to grandchildren - all welcomed to an intergenerational celebration📣

Hartlepool Remembers: 80 Years of Freedom & Family Fun. Wednesday 29 October (Half-Term) | 10.30am - 12.30pm and 1pm - 3pm.

Activities include: 🎨 Face painting 🪖 War Re-enactments 🏺 Ceramics and pottery 🕵️‍♀️ Find out more about your historic memorabilia. Bring it along and have our experts take a look ✍️ Poetry 🎥 A chance to tell us all about your wartime stories or memories so they aren't lost in the past And so much more! 🎬

Tickets must be booked. Visit www.hartlepool.gov.uk/communityhubs or drop in to any of your local community hubs/libraries.

This event is brought to you free of charge, with a big thank you to "Our Freedom: Then and Now", a new programme of community-based events in libraries across the UK to mark the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.
