Blast off for Space Chase!
There's fun with a space age theme in store for Hartlepool youngsters in this year's Summer Reading Challenge at the town's community hubs and libraries.
Aimed at children aged four to 11, the challenge is to read six books of their choice over the summer, in return for which they will receive stickers, gifts, a medal and a certificate.

Those with less visible disabilities will benefit from the biggest change in the Blue Badge scheme in 50 years.
People with hidden disabilities will soon be able to access Blue Badge parking permits, thanks to the rollout of new guidance recently (June 15 2019).
