Summerhill Country Park in Hartlepool is a Local Nature Reserve and Outdoor Activity Centre.
The 100 acre site has large sculptures, ponds, childrens play areas, a BMX track, woods and large climbing boulders - all are free to enjoy, all year round.

Volunteers are a vital part of the Countryside section, without their assistance the Local Nature Reserves and Public Rights of Way would not be in such excellent condition.

The Home Office is running a FGM campaign, as part of their commitment to tackling this crime and protecting vulnerable young women and girls. The campaign is primarily targeting,
parents and familes aged between 18-45 years old of girls at risk of FGM,
and community influencers or elders (aged 45+)
from Sudan, Somalia, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Egypt, Iraq, Gambia and Nigeria
