Young Producers programme
We’re delighted that the award-winning Young Producers programme has grown again and is recruiting this year for young people at: Dorman Museum, Kirkleatham Museum, Hartlepool Art Gallery and Preston Park Museum.
This is a free opportunity for 16 - 25 year olds and includes:
🎨Real programming opportunities at every venue for young people to learn alongside experienced teams in areas such as curation, programming, learning and collections.
🖼️Current opportunities include working on a British Museum partnership exhibition and curating Turner on Tees exhibitions.
🚗Financial support to travel to and from meetings.
💡Free skills development workshops and cultural learning visits outside of the region.
This is an unrivalled opportunity for young people interested in working in the creative and cultural industries to get hands on, gain experience and influence what happens in our museums and galleries.
Young Producer alumni have gone on to gain roles at the Natural History Museum in London, Hopetown in Darlington, Preston Park Museum, Newcastle Castle and the Dorman Museum, among many others.
The deadline for applications is Wednesday 4th November. No experience is necessary. More information and to apply, see: https://teesvalleymuseums.org/young-people/young-producers/
