Thornaby Dementia Cafe

Thornaby Dementia café is open once a month at Thornaby Central Library from 2.00pm- 3.30pm. It is an opportunity for people living with Dementia and their Carers to socialise over tea or coffee and a cake, and get some useful advice or help with form filling. Twelve parents, volunteering last summer to be part of a pilot, enrolled onto a national programme called Empowering Parents, Empowering Communities (EPEC).
