The Jobs & Skills Team 

The Jobs & Skills Team support local residents to meet new people, enhance their skills, participate in learning, access volunteer opportunities, and provide tailored employment support to achieve their ambitions.

 

 

The department offers a wide range of courses and qualifications to help encourage personal interests, skills, wellbeing and career aspirations. 

The Jobs and Skills Team have dedicated areas within all of the Community Hubs to ensure that everyone can easily access 1:1 support and our range of services.

These include:

  • Careers Guidance

  • Employment Support

  • Learning Opportunities & Qualifications

  • Personal Development Activities

  • Access to Apprenticeships 

  • Volunteer Opportunities

  • Workforce Development Training

 

Volunteer Hartlepool 

The Jobs and Skills Team also include the Volunteer Hartlepool team, who provide access to volunteer placements, which include charitable and community group opportunities across Hartlepool. 
 
 
 
 
Supported Employment
 
The supported employment team work with adults with a disability or health problem to progress in education or employment. 
 
Supported Employment works in partnership between Jobs & Skills and The Support Hub.
