Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a way to help your body feel better by moving, stretching, and massaging your muscles and joints.

It works on the idea that your body feels best when your bones, muscles, and other parts all work well together.

Osteopaths (the people who do this) use their hands to:

  • Help your joints move more easily

  • Relax tight muscles

  • Reduce pain

  • Help blood flow better

  • Support your body to heal itself

They do not use medicine or surgery.

When Do People Use Osteopathy?

People often see an osteopath when they have:

  • Lower back pain

  • Simple neck pain (not from an accident)

  • Shoulder or elbow pain (like tennis elbow)

  • Arthritis

  • Pain in the hips, legs, or pelvis

  • Sports injuries

  • Muscle or joint pain from driving, working, or being pregnant
