More About The Provider
Description of Service
We are a Disabled People's User Led Organisation who are committed to inclusion and the Social Model of Disability.
Our 'Project 65' loans out 'Tablets' to any Hartlepool resident aged 65, or over. This is a FREE service.
We offer choice to Disabled People by providing Information, Advice and Guidance through the projects and services we deliver.
We manage the Hartlepool Advocacy Hub service - www.hartlepooladvocacyhub.com for further details.
We run the 'Time of Your Life' service that provides support in identifying 'short-breaks' and 'activity sessions', across the UK. There is a fee for this service.
We provide accessible information in appropriate formats on request and our office is fully accessible.
Check out our website for more detailed information: www.incontrol-able.co.uk
What are you currently offering in response to Covid-19?
We are continuing to deliver Project 65, although it is a reduced service at the moment. We are unable to provide the 'drop-in' service, or workshops at this time. As social distancing measures relax, we hope to resume one-to-one appointments.
The Advocacy Hub is still delivering the service, but not from our office.
