Saxon Lodge

Saxon Lodge is a purpose-built home offering support for up to nine young adults with a diagnosis of autism, complex needs, and challenging behaviours. Through bespoke, person-centred support, our aim is for everyone to enjoy an active, varied lifestyle that's meaningful to them.

We promote independence and actively support individuals to participate in a full range of activities, which respect personal choice and develop skills and independence. Saxon Lodge is designed to empower our housemates to participate in every aspect of the running of their home.

The people we support and their wider support circles are included in decision making and are consulted and informed about any changes to our care.

For the people we support, we access Speech and Language Therapy (SALT) services to promote communication and empower everyone to express themselves and make decisions about their care and support.

Facilities
Our home is purpose built to be fully wheelchair accessible, with features such as specialist baths and showers, and height adjustable work surfaces. Our upstairs flats have their own en-suite facilities, living and kitchen areas, and provide more independent within private accommodation.

Our home also has a communal sensory room and a well maintained, pleasant garden.

The team
Our support colleagues are highly knowledgeable and receive specialist training to meet each persons unique needs. We take pride in continuous professional development and are always seeking to further develop our skills and knowledge. Through expert training, we understand the complex nature of the conditions we support. We maintain a flexible approach to our support, and take pride in our home and the achievements of each person we support.

We regularly receive compliments from visitors and professionals about our pleasant, welcoming atmosphere.
