RSPB Saltholme Nature Reserve
If you're new to birdwatching, Saltholme is the perfect place to start. These family-friendly wetlands have a helpful visitor's centre, hides and screens which let you get up close to water rail, yellow wagtails and terns, plus a family discovery zone, cafe, play area and accessible trails. Alive with the sights and sounds of thousands of birds, seals and much more, RSPB Saltholme is a haven for both wildlife and families, a place where people can get close to nature. With regular hands- on activities and family events throughout the year, there's something for everyone whatever the weather.

Entry fees apply:
Children £1.50 - Free entry for first child and under 5s
Free entry for carers
Entry fees apply to non-RSPB members but if you are only visiting the café and shop entry is free.
Entry fees apply to all buses and those travelling by public transport or on foot.
