Job Provider Description

Burbank offers six self-contained bungalows with a garden, each shared by two people. Our staff team are trained in ProAct-Scipr Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), where simple tasks are broken down into small steps, giving each person the opportunity to follow his or her own way of doing things. With supervision and using a consistent approach, people are supported towards building confidence and independence.

Job summary

One of our residential services, Burbank, is looking for enthusiastic Support Workers to care for our Residents in Hartlepool. This role will help the residents to perform basic function of everyday living such as personal care, social and recreational activities, which by reasons of disability they are unable to perform without support.

Please note regulations are changing; from 11th November 2021, all care home workers regardless of contracted hours or status, and anyone entering a CQC regulated care home, will need to be fully vaccinated, unless they are exempt under the regulations. Anyone who enters a care home for a job interview must also show proof of vaccination unless they are exempt. If someone intends to have the vaccination but is not yet vaccinated, interviews will take place outside of the care home or remotely (via video call or telephone)
