Learner Support Volunteer

Learner Support Volunteers will work with teaching staff by supporting individuals and groups to develop their learning skills. The role will motivate and engage with learners to improve and promote learner confidence and encourage learners to understand and take responsibility for their own learning.

The volunteers will promote an inclusive learning environment. They will work closely with teaching staff to support the delivery of sessions and will become advocates for the Hartlepool Jobs & Skills Service. It is important that volunteers understand the nature and boundaries of learner support role, taking into account professional considerations.
