NCT's charitable mission dates back over 65 years. We have a proud history of supporting parents through all stages of pregnancy, birth and early parenthood. Specifically in relation to infant feeding, we have a strong and vibrant network of Breastfeeding Counsellors and peer supporters throughout the UK helping parents to navigate the challenges of all types of infant feeding. We provide evidence-based information to parents and support their decisions on infant feeding in a non-biased, inclusive way. Our For Every Parent strategy details our vision, mission, values and pillars that drive our work.
Job summary
What’s involved?
• Planning and leading one of our local activities or services to support parents
• Advertising your group or event via social media and other platforms
• Attracting and welcoming helpers for your activity
• Following NCT guidance to ensure all events are welcoming, inclusive and safe
• Collecting and sharing information about the difference you make to parents
• Promoting NCT’s values and vision in your local community
