The Seaside Comes to Town at Middleton Grange’s Beach-Themed Event!

No need to travel for a day at the beach; on Saturday 30th August, Middleton Grange is bringing the seaside to you! As part of our Summer Saturdays event series, Central Square will be transformed into a vibrant beach-themed extravaganza, complete with palm trees, deck chairs and a sandpit perfect for the whole family to enjoy. Here’s what’s in store: Seaside storybooks for children and parents to relax and read together. Sandpit for little ones to dig, build and play. Face painters (free for visiting families) offering fun, colourful designs all day. Traditional seaside games including Splat the Rat, Hook a Duck, Feed the Monsters, Tin Can Alley and Hoopla. Craft activities to spark creativity; from sand art to shell painting. Giant deckchair; perfect for a family photo to remember the day. Whether you’re crafting, competing in the games or simply kicking back and enjoying the beachy atmosphere, this is the perfect way to spend your Saturday in Hartlepool.
