Suicide Prevention Training

If U Care Share Foundation are a suicide prevention charity based in Chester-le-Street with extensive experience of supporting people at risk of and or those bereaved by suicide. In addition, they have developed a number of training programmes grounded in the lived experiences of those we support.  IUCSF are running Suicide Prevention Training for all individuals who work across Health and Social Care services in the North East and North Cumbria ICB area.  This training will be adapted from our STOP programme. This training will explore what support  is needed for those who may be bereaved by suicide and how an individual can access the support. In addition to this, attendees will also gain a better understanding of the impact of suicide on both an individual/colleague and communities/workplaces.  The training will also acknowledge and look to explore the importance of how we support those at risk of suicide, exploring the signs that someone maybe suicidal and ensuring that we have supportive conversations.  To book your space, please visit the website to the right of this page.
