CHAT Event - Travellers Tales Part One

Come along and hear about Colin's experiences working around the world. A Travellers Tale is about my travels around the world on company business. The presentation starts when I finished college and started in the mechanical engineers office of The Power Gas Corporation in Stockton. I relate my memories of going behind the Iron Curtain in the 1960's and my visits to India in the 1980's with Ashmores. Ashmores was a part of Power Gas, Power Gas designed Petrochemical Plants, Ashmores designed Iron and Steel Plants. The talks include some references to TV programmes of the day, the expectation being that some will say 'I remember that' Everyone welcome and with Hartlepool being a big area for steel production, this may be interesting for former and current steel workers.
