Two Funding Opportunities - equipment, places and vehicles
Common Ground Award for VCSE organisations. This is a capital grant programme, designed to support VCSE organisations that are helping build social cohesion across England.
Funding available: Up to £10,000 per organisation.
Purpose: To identify and reward good practice in building social capital. To invest in facilities, equipment, or spaces that bring people together and strengthen community bonds.
Who can apply: VCSE organisations operating in England with charitable, benevolent, or philanthropic aims.
Application window: Opens 13 October 2025, closes 21 November 2025.
Awarded: January 2026.
National Lottery Community Fund - Better Youth Spaces
This second 'equipment only' round of the Better Youth Spaces fund is available to the same 42 areas in England, to allow more time for youth services to apply for equipment grants to support the young people they work with.
Equipment grants for this second round could cover things like new sports, music, or art equipment, a new vehicle, furnishings, IT, or security equipment.
This new round will be open to applications until midday Thursday 6 November 2025.
