You may remember in April this year, RNIB ran a survey asking people living with sight loss, their family and carers, about their experiences and ideas to improve support before a person is diagnosed with an eye condition.
We had a great response and are now seeking help to prioritise which ideas RNIB should focus on exploring further. A second survey is now live and open until Wednesday 8th October. Please note this is not a volunteer role, but something to be promoted in a newsletter, on socials or the poster displayed in your place of work.
To be eligible to take part people must be aged 18 or over. The survey can be accessed here: http://bit.ly/4251Rt5 and takes 20 to 30 minutes to complete.
Would it please be possible to share the survey with people you know (poster and social media advert attached) who fit the following criteria:
- People who are living with sight loss
- Family members, carers or friends of those with sight loss
- Professionals working in post-diagnostic support or involved in delivering or shaping support services in some way.
It’s important to say that it doesn’t matter whether people completed the first survey.
The more people who complete this survey, the better the insight we get will be. This insight will help shape new services in coming years, helping to ensure people living with sight loss get the support they need, when they need it and in a way that works for them.
