A service which supports independent living is appealing for the return of much-needed equipment.  Tees Community Equipment Service (TCES) lends equipment and medical aids that assist people with daily living.

The national flu immunisation programme aims to provide direct protection to those who are at higher risk of flu associated morbidity and mortality.  Flu occurs every year, usually in the winter, which is why it's sometimes called seasonal flu.  It's a highly infectious disease with symptoms that come on very quickly.

It’s been another busy month for our group, we purchased some artificial grass to enable us to play indoor bowls as a friend had donated at least 6 sets of bowls. The group have had the opportunity to play several games, which was tremendous fun and brilliant to see so many getting involved.

Our group met for their monthyl meeting in The Bridge Dementia Advice Centre on 31st May and we updated the advisors what our Thursday group has been up to since our last blog. We had a stall in the Middleton Grange Shopping Centre during Dementia Action Week and raised £140 selling the craft items we had made.  We plan to hold antother stall in the near future and may  include a tombola.
