Funded through 'Comic Relief' the CV2Employee Project provides one to one support and group work for disabled people in Hartlepool looking to get in to employment. The project supports people with bespoke services, such as:
- An agreed Action Plan
- Production of CV's (easy read if required)
- Introductory letter
- Interview techniques
- Job searches
- Sign posting for additional training
- Support at interview (if required)
- Information about 'Access to Work'
- Sign posting for benefit advice
- Awareness of volunteering opportunities
- Mentoring and monitoring if employment found
THIS PROJECT IS CURRENTLY OPEN TO NEW REFERRALS
Sessions are held in Incontrol-able's fully-accessible base at Hartlepool Centre for Independent Living, 1 Havelock Street, Hartlepool, TS24 7LT
It is free to take part in the CV 2 Employee Project, but places are limited. If you:
- are a carer, or
- have a physical or learning disability, or
- have a hearing or sight impairment
