Description of Service

Lindisfarne Hartlepool is operated by Gainford Care Homes and is a purpose built care home providing both General Residential and Dementia Residential Care. Respite services are also available. Whatever your requirement are we will work with you to ensure your needs and expectations are met. The home comprises of 54 bedrooms over two floors all of which are en-suite, which can be personalised to suit individuals tastes. There is a comfortable homely lounge and dining room on each floor along with a hairdressing salon. The home also has a large dayroom, the gardens are accessible and provide seating areas. A full laundry service is provided and the home has an excellent catering team who provide a nutritional daily menu which offers choice and also caters for any special diets. The home also has its own Activity Co-ordinator who meets with all residents ensuring every individual's social activities are met and that links with the local community are maintained. The home also has its own mini bus which is used for outings for residents. The home has a dedicated team of staff which is led by Beryl Anderson, Home Manager and includes two team leaders, senior care staff, care staff, cooks, kitchen assistants, administrator and maintenance and ancillary staff. The Manager has an open door policy and is available at all times.
