Oscars

Oscars is an inclusive holiday club ran by Hartlepool Borough Council and is at Rossmere Youth Centre, Rossmere Way, Hartlepool.

Graded Good by Ofsted, Oscars adhere to the Early Years Framework Stage (EYFS) framework. The aim of the EYFS is to promote teaching and learning and to ensure children's school readiness giving them the broad range of knowledge and skills that provide the right foundation for good future progress through school and life. Part of EYFS is to ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn and develop individually and at their own pace.

Holiday activities are 8.30am - 6.00pm, open all year except Christmas.

For children and young people aged 3 to 16 years, 18 years if additional needs and in education. The holiday club is open to all, however it is necessary to register with Oscars.

All staff hold current DBS and enhanced disclosures.

Minimum requirement for staff at Oscars is an NVQ Level 2 in Childcare, Learning and Development, however most staff hold NVQ Level 3/4's.

HOLIDAY BREAKFAST CLUB

Oscars now operate a breakfast club in the holidays from 8:00am to 8:30am to allow you to drop off your children earlier. Breakfast is supplied, booking is required in advance, and is currently £3.00 per child per session.
