Service summary

The Nacro SWITCH project provides comprehensive packages of support to vulnerable women aged 16 and older who face a range of health, social, financial, educational or housing needs, to enable them to regain positive control of their lives.

We work with them to build confidence, self-esteem and to address issues such as social isolation, domestic violence and drug and alcohol abuse, and support them to get into education, training or work.

We have a team of outreach workers dedicated to delivering one-to-one work, group work, training and wellbeing workshops. The project also has a very successful mentoring programme, pairing trained volunteers with vulnerable women within our communities.
