CECA primarily offers technical training routes and learning pathways for young people into the creative industries, focusing on sound production, theatre and live events, and digital media. This training offer will introduce young people to alternative career paths, developing trainees with the technical skills and knowledge to form the next generation creative industries workforce, helping the Tees Valley to flourish both economically and culturally.

CECA works with a number of industry professionals and partners to deliver various projects from the centre. Currently Hartlepool Borough Council’s Youth Services run a Youth Club at the centre on Wednesday evening from 7pm – 9pm. The Northern SoA hosts Saturday Clubs from the centre which delivers a variety of art disciplines to 12-16 year olds.
