Hartlepool Children's Hubs

Children's Centres work primarily with families with children aged under five years. They provide integrated childcare and education; health services; family support; and access to Job Centre Plus. Contact the Children's Hub on 01429 284284 or by email childrenshub@hartlepool.gov.uk for further information. Children's Centres are a 'one stop shop' for children and their families where skilled staff are on hand to give help, advice and guidance on such things as health advice, parenting and family support, play sessions, childcare, help to get a job or training, or simply a place to meet other parents. Children's Centres focus on the following priorities: • Early years education and care • A childminder's network • Parenting, education and family support services • Education, training and employment services • Health services • Signposting, advice and information The Children's Hub can offer advice and information on the services and benefits available to Hartlepool families, including • How to get affordable credit, free debt and benefits advice • How to get help to manage your family budget and improve your money skills • How to get help with council tax and rent • How to find out what benefits and support is available to families • Other useful contacts
