Service summary
Anti-Bullying Network
The Network is for teachers, parents and young people to share ideas about how bullying should be tackled.
The main focus is bullying which is related to school communities - and its consequences. They provide information about how bullying can be tackled, not an advice or counselling service - but they want to hear about new anti-bullying ideas so that they can pass the information on.
Many family members who contact the Anti-Bullying Network are worried about a young person who is being bullied or who has been accused of bullying others. Our advice has been written to help them.
We have also provided information for families who want to help their local school to develop new ways to prevent bullying and to provide a better learning environment for all pupils.
The Anti-Bullying Network has the following objectives:
- to support anti-bullying work in schools;
- to provide a free website;
- and to offer an anti-bullying service which will include the provision of training, publications and consultancy services
