At Staindale Place leasehold retirement development in Hartlepool, we offer 28 two bedroom purpose-built properties and bungalows for sale for people over the age of 60.

The development is situated in Hartlepool and has excellent transport links to the city centre. The local shops are within 5 minutes walking distance and include supermarkets, a post office, bakery and cafes. There are doctors’ surgeries in the town centre. Other local amenities include a cinema, shopping centre, theatres, a marina and nature reserve.

In addition to each individual private property, all Anchor estates offer some shared facilities, available for the use and enjoyment of all the residents, and managed and maintained by Anchor. At Staindale Place we provide a communal lounge, well maintained gardens and 18 parking spaces. For those times when you might like to be more sociable and meet up with others, we also run social activities and events including coffee mornings and occasional meals out.

The estate manager is visits once per week to offer help, advice and co-ordinate any services provided.

For properties for sale the service charges start at £116.41 per month. They cover the costs associated with the day to day repair and management of the estate, including insurance of the building and maintenance of communal areas.

The services provided by our estate managers include: liaising with residents and prospective residents; making sure the estate is safe, secure and welcoming; maintaining the building and managing the estate. The costs for these services, carried out by our professional staff, are included in the monthly service charge.

All this has the added advantage of protecting property values for all residents.

The estate manager is available to discuss financial issues related to the running of the estate. The audited accounts will be sent to you by post every year. Actual expenditure is monitored against the annual budget throughout the year and service charges are reviewed annually.

Service charges are put together in accordance with the terms of your lease. They cover the costs associated with the upkeep of the estate, including insurance of the building and maintenance of communal areas.
