At Lynton Court retirement housing scheme in Hartlepool, we offer 32 one bedroom properties for rent for people over the age of 55.
The property is situated close to Hartlepool and has excellent transport links to Stockton, Middlesbrough and Durham City Centre. The local shops are within walking distance and include a mini-market, a library, a butcher, a hairdresser, takeaways and a pharmacy. There is a doctor's surgery and dentist within walking distance of the scheme. Other local amenities include a cinema, a marina, a park and a shopping centre, all on the local bus route.
We understand that sometimes you like to be alone and at other times you may want to be more sociable. Our properties give you that freedom. At Lynton Court we run social activities including bingo, darts, cards and dominoes evenings, coffee mornings and bus trips. We also haveweekly bacon butty mornings, fish and chip lunches and pie and pea suppers.
You will not need to worry about maintenance and repairs or gardening upkeep as we take care of those. We provide a wide range of facilities, including a communal lounge, a guest room, a visiting hairdresser , a garden with seating area, an on-site laundry and eight parking spaces.

Your monthly fee will range from £553.05 and normally includes your rent, service charge, heating, hot water and water rates.
Your local council will be able to advise you about getting help paying your rent and service charge through housing benefit. They will also be able to tell you if they will be paying a grant to us to meet or contribute towards the support cost elements of our services to you.
Our service charge covers all the cost of amenities you share with your neighbours, including the scheme manager service, our 24-hour emergency call service (Anchorcall), repairs and maintenance, window cleaning, gardening and the cleaning of communal areas.
