Throston Youth Project

The Throston Project offers a range of fun, challenging and creative activities throughout the week supported by experience and helpful youth workers.

Monday and Tuesday (7.00-9.00)
Open access provision (young people aged 13-19 years)
Our activities include: arts, drama, IT projects, advice and opportunities to discuss many issues (e.g. sexual health, drugs, alcohol, careers, bullying, smoking etc...), cooking, residential, holiday activities, visits to a variety of places (e.g. theatre, ice skating, etc.), sporting activities (pool, snooker, football, table tennis, badminton) and a hang out space. This list does not stop there and young people are encouraged to share their ideas and get involved in planning and organising of future activities and programmes.
Cost: £1.00 membership per year and 30p per session

Wednesday (6.00p.m-8.00p.m)
Stand Together (young people aged 13-19 years)
A group for all young people interested in social justice issues and educating others about their importance. Topics considered include poverty, racism, the environment to name but a few.
Cost: Free of charge

Thursday (6.00p.m-8.00pm)
SEN Youth Club (Young people aged 16-25 years)
Open to all SEN young people supported by experienced youth workers. young people can participate in a range of games, cooking, arts and crafts etc. The list is endless.
Cost: £1.00 membership per year and 30p per session
