Hartlepool United Community Sports Foundation

Hartlepool United Community Sport Foundation are running an activity and personal development programme for ex forces personal as part of their on going commitment to the Armed Forces. Funded by the Royal British Legion to help with inactivity, social isolation, loneliness and low confidence levels are among the many long term challenges that veterans encounter upon leaving the forces. The project aims to use group sessions based around the football club to support these men and women of all ages in over-coming them. The session are free to attend for ex forces and their families and can lead to additional opportunities for participants including access to sports courses. There is also a volunteering and work experience club.
