Shoot Your Mouth Off cic
Founded in 2001 by local woman Karen Sheader, Shoot Your Mouth Off - or SYMO for short - is a ground-breaking community interest company which works with people with learning disabilities to make films and record music.
SYMO provides activities including film-making, acting, music, health and well-being-related activities, life skills and much more. We are open Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, 50 weeks of the year including Bank Holidays, from 9am - 3.30pm. On Monday evenings we host our weekly social club, the Monday Night Mash-up, from 6.30pm - 9pm. This is a safe, friendly evening to meet friends and enjoy the activities provided.

Costs
Our Day Service cost is £50 per day, with an additional £5 transport fee. The Monday Night Mash-up is £3.

Our premises are all on one level, and we have wheelchair accessible toilets with hand-rails. We don't have changing facilities or hearing induction loops.

Interested people can contact SYMO directly to arrange a taster session, or this can happen via a social worker. If the individual would like to join, the social worker would assess whether the individual's Personal Budget can meet the cost. We do have members who are self-funded.
