. Mindskills Recovery College Learning skills to help with recovery from emotional distress – through short courses for small groups of people with similar experience. Mindskills Recovery College – based in Hartlepool and Stockton – is for people suffering mental and emotional distress and want to learn more about how to best manage such states. The College aims to build up your confidence to take steps towards leading a more fulfilling and a fuller life. The College also provides a wide range of small group activities – such as relaxation, crafts, sports, music making, walking and mindfulness– for people looking for activities providing a safe and relaxed atmosphere in which you can take steps towards enjoying life again.

Fully accessible base offices in Hartlepool and Stockton. We always strive to ensure full accessibility in the community venues we use, however if you are unsure feel free to contact us to discuss.
Is there accessible parking on site?
Accessible parking in Stockton base. At Hartlepool base no private parking. However there are accessible parking spaces nearby.
Do you have accessible/disabled toilets?
Yes, in both Hartlepool and Stockton base offices.

You can self refer by phone, post or email. Or someone can refer on your behalf (example GP, support worker, carer, friend). We will contact you within 3 days to arrange a date to meet a member of the team. We can meet in our base offices, in a community venue or anywhere you feel comfortable. If you would like someone with you at this appointment this is okay.
