Service Description

Description of Service

Specialist residential and nursing support to adults who may have acquired brain injuries, neurological conditions, mental health needs, complex learning and physical disabilities.

Our multi disciplinary team of consultant psychiatrist, behaviour specialists, occupational therapists, physiotherapist, nurses (RNLD, RMN, RGN) and specially trained support workers will support people to develop their daily living skills and maximise their potential to achieve their goals and where ever possible a return to community living.

Accommodation onsite includes en-suite bedrooms, one bedroom apartments and one and two bedroom bungalows.

Facilities available include: spa hydrotherapy pool, training kitchens, sensory rooms, creative suite, private and communal gardens.

Cost is determined by a pre-admission assessment to identify the level of support required.

Opening Times

The home will have a registered nurse and fully trained support staff on shift 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year.

All service users cultural and religious needs are catered for where ever possible - ranging from the food served, times, religious observations and attendance at religious ceremonies.

Applicant will usually be over 18 years of age (we can work with those under 18 years of age to support them through the transition process)

In the majority of instances a referral is made by the person's social worker/care co-ordinator/hospital discharge team.

A pre-admission assessment will be carried out by our multi disciplinary team to identify the needs of the person

Written assessment with recommendations and cost of placement will be given to the Social Worker/Commissioner/relevant funding organisation.
