A programme of outdoor activities for those living with Dementia in Hartlepool. Launching in Hartlepool on Wednesday 7th March. Our award winning Green Links programme offers FREE outdoor activities, in a friendly setting, where people living with Dementia (and carers) can socialise and take part in meaningful activities.
Staying Out is a project delivered by ARC. ARC offers a creative programme of activity on Wednesdays providing an alternative to day care for clients where they can be creative, learn new skills and engage in social interaction.
The Dementia Friendly Hartlepool Project aims to develop Hartlepool as a nationally recognised dementia friendly community. We want to ensure that: • People living with dementia are able to remain active and involved in their communities. • The local community will be aware of and understand more about dementia.
Fusion Café was established in February 2006. It is a partnership venture between local agencies involved in Dementia Care. Clevearc are the lead agency but are supported regularly by staff from Stockton's integrated mental health service and Avalon. It is held on the last Friday of the month.

Young at heart is a friendship group for people with dementia and their carers to attend together. People with dementia are supported in one room to do activities that are of interest to them whilst carers take the opportunity to meet and chat with each other over a cup of tea in another room. We are also asked views on things from time to time to help service development.
