The Board is hosting this event on Tuesday 6th February 2018 at the Centre for Independent Living for organisations delivering health and wellbeing related services to adults in Hartlepool.
The aim is to help guide professionals who are responsible for leading on adult safeguarding work in their organisations, on how to establish the policies, procedures and overall culture needed to protect adults, and to help build a 'whole community approach' to the prevention of adult abuse and neglect.
Those who should apply include: Advocacy Providers, Alcohol and Substance Misuse Agencies, Agencies Supporting Carers and or Personal Assistants, Banks, Dentists Practices, Education Providers, GP Practices, Housing Agencies, Mental Health Service Providers, Sexual Health, Voluntary and Community Sector, Organisations working with Harder to Reach/Marginalised or Minority Groups, Pharmacy Providers and any other Preventative Services.
Please note this event is for people who provide services in Hartlepool, however a similar South Tees event (covering Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland) is being held in March 2018, further information on this event will be published on our website in due course.
