Provision Type:

Childminder

Description:

I have been an OFSTED Registered Childminder in Hartlepool since 13th April 2012 after completing a Hartlepool Childminder Training Programme providing me with the skills and knowledge to ensure I am able to provide the best for the children in my care.

I live with my husband Chris and we are both DBS checked, we have 2 children. I have really enjoyed watching them develop and grow which helped me make the decision to become a childminder. Our home is near High Tunstall School. It is in the catchment for Throston school and a great location for access to the A19 for commuting North and South and close to local amenities.

As a childminder I will provide a very safe and caring environment for your child/ren, but still allowing them to play and express themselves. I am very willing to support any needs or requirements of your child/ren and as a mother I understand the importance of routine and will follow as required.

I would like any potential parents to come and have a look around my home with their child/ren in anticipation that they will enjoy the space and will feel safe and comfortable, to come back. My theory is to teach children through play, to give them as much experience and opportunities to develop and grow.

I promote positive and good behaviour through planned fun activities, praise and lots of encouragement. By working closely in partnership with parents/ carers I will provide the best support to meet your child’s needs.

I have completed the following:

Paediatric First Aid
Level 2 – Food Safety and Catering
