H'Angus the Monkey has become the first mascot in the country to be named a Dementia Friend as part of a new link-up between the Club and the Alzheimer's Society. As part of the partnership, full-time staff at the Club have undergone a Dementia Friends information session to help make sure we can accommodate those living with dementia in the best way possible.

These services enable people to book GP appointments and request repeat prescriptions via their computer, smartphone or tablet at a time that suits them rather than calling or visiting their surgery.

The sacrifices made by Hartlepool's service men and women will be remembered at a series of services this weekend. Two Remembrance Sunday services will take place on Sunday (November 13) at 11am, one in Victory Square in the town centre and the other at the Headland War Memorial in Redheugh Gardens.
