We are now in the final phase of the construction of the new Hartlepool CIL and all our efforts are now around focussing on the finishing touches to the building, in particular focussing on things like colour schemes, carpets and furniture etc.

Although there is still a lot to do, after nearly three years of consultations, planning, getting finances in place and finally getting the planning consent, the end is almost in sight.

If you have passed by the building site at any point recently, you will see that much of the exterior building work has now been completed and only last week the 'Curtain Glass' which plays such a prominent part of the building design has just been installed.

As you can see from the photographs below additional work is also close to completion on the car park and exterior lighting.

Inside the building on all of the three floors, tradesman are also busy painting walls, hanging doors, finishing the wiring work and a couple of days ago the heating was activated on the first and second floors.

We look forward to welcoming the wider Hartlepool Community to the new CIL at a proposed 'open event' which will take place in the middle of February and we will send out details of this event in the New Year.
