"As the colder weather approaches, colleagues are reminded that help is still available through the Warm Up North partnership to provide free central heating and replacement boilers for eligible households.

Funding for free central heating is limited and new applications are expected to be made by 31st October, so there's no time to delay!

Hartlepool Borough Council is working with either other Local Authorities and British Gas to deliver energy savings/improvements in the region through the Warm up North partnership.

The Central Heating Fund will see residents benefit from a new scheme which will see free central heating fitted to a number of homes without, or with only partial, central heating.  There are eligibility criteria which are set out in the leaflet.  If you think you may benefit from this please call the number on the leaflet and the British Gas Customer Services Team will go through the process with them.

The second leaflet is about the free boiler replacement scheme which offers eligible households a new boiler if theirs is classed as inefficient.  This is on a like for like basis, e.g. combi for a combi.  If you think you may be eligible please call the number on the leaflet.
