The Met Office have issued a Level 2 heatwave warning for the UK.  Whilst we all enjoy the sunshine (given that it's so rare in the UK), but it is important that we stay safe during such times and that we look after those most vulnerable in our community.

The frail and elderly may struggle during this extreme heat and it is important we are mindful to check on our neighbours and those in our community.  Heat exhaustion and heatstroke are potentially life threatening to the elderly.

There are a range of leaflets available online via the Department of Health to ensure people are staying safe in the heat.  You can also get help from Age UK.
