Hartlepool Voluntary Development Agency (HVDA) have recently received funding from Hartlepool Borough Council to continue supporting 50+ Forum.

50+ Forum develops the capacity and skills of the members in such a way that they are able to identify and help meet their own and indeed the needs of older people in general in Hartlepool by participating more fully in society and through lobbying at local, regional and national level.

The purpose of the forum is to enable people 50+ in Hartlepool to have a voice on matters which are important to them whilst providing organisations and agencies with a mechanism to consult with people 50+ on a range of issues that relate to planning and developing services.
