In Good Hands Project North East (IGH) is a 3.5 year £1 million project funded by the Big Lottery is association with the Daily Mail.

One of our ambitions is to make the North East the best place to live as an older person living with combined sight and hearing difficulties and/or acquired communication disorders.  We believe this can best be achieved by building awareness and skills through a quality practical professional development programme, and by bringing people together.

There are two FREE courses organised to take place in Hartlepool:

  • Foundation course in Deafblind Awareness, OCN Level 2 credits @ Grand Hotel, Hartlepool, 9:30am to 4pm on 14th July 2016.  Refreshments and lunch included.

  • Deafblind Support Person, OCN Level 2 credits @ Grand Hotel, Hartlepool, 9:30am to 4pm on 22nd July 2016.  Refreshments and lunch included.
