As you can see from the above photograph, work is progressing well on the new Centre for Independent Living with the exterior walls to roof level now almost complete and in the last few days the roof trusses have been lifted into place by a mobile crane.

Interior tradesman have recently been employed to start work and it is hoped that the building will be watertight by June.

As you can see from the photographs we have for the first time managed to get access to the ground floor interior of the building and the pictures below show the areas which will be occupied by the day services.
