Introducing Qwell and Kooth
- Qwell and Kooth are safe and an anonymous mental health and wellbeing online services, that users can access for free. There are no waiting lists, no referrals and no thresholds required to access the service which is accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and delivered by Kooth plc, the UK’s largest digital mental health provider.
- Qwell (www.qwell.io) will be available for anyone aged 18+ across Durham and the Tees Valley.
- Qwell runs alongside Kooth (www.kooth.com) our service for children and young people which is available for people aged 11-18 across Durham and Tees Valley.
- The online services offer a range of peer to peer support via moderated discussion forums and self-help tools and content. The services also gives people the opportunity to access text based support from our online professional support and counselling from our qualified team who are 365 days of the year, available from midday to 10pm every week day and from 6pm to 10pm at weekends.
