Summerhill Volunteering

Summerhill Country Park in Hartlepool is a Local Nature Reserve and Outdoor Activity Centre.

The 100 acre site has large sculptures, ponds, childrens play areas, a BMX track, woods and large climbing boulders - all are free to enjoy, all year round.

There are a range of curriculum linked, bookable activities for schools and there's always something for the family to do in the school holidays.

Twice a week, the Summerhill Volunteers meet to plan activities, complete installations or repairs, manage habitats or work alongside the Countryside Volunteers.

Task Days all year round are on Wednesdays between 10.00am and 2.30pm. Task days in Autumn, Winter and Spring are on Fridays betwen 9.30am and 2.00pm.

If you would like to find out more, please contact Summerhill on (01429) 284584 or call in to the Country Park on Summerhill Lane TS25 4LL.

Summerhill can supply Personal Protective Clothing, but please wear old, comfortable clothes!
