'First Click' basic internet lessons
Hartlepool's Central Library in York Road is running a rolling programme of free five-week courses – called ‘First Click’ - to introduce people to the wonders of the e-world, including how to use a keyboard and mouse, search the internet and send e-mails.
Diane Marlborough, the Library’s Information, Advice and Guidance Manager, said: “The classes are very small and friendly and most of the time people will receive personal tuition.
“The courses are currently running on Friday mornings but we could alter that timing if there is sufficient demand.”
Places on the courses must be booked in advance – for more information, visit the information desk on the first floor of Central Library or call 01429 242909.
